Our Craft
ShailPiya — Handcrafted in Jaipur
Our Craft
Every ShailPiya piece begins in a small workshop in Jaipur, in the same hands and the same unhurried rhythm that have shaped silver here for three generations.
We don't manufacture jewellery. We compose it — slowly, deliberately, one piece at a time.
The Rawa technique
Our signature is Rawa work — the ancient art of granulation, in which countless tiny silver granules are placed and fused by hand to build texture, pattern, and depth. There is no machine for this. Each granule is set by eye, grain by grain, until the surface comes alive.
The hands behind every piece
Behind every ornament is a karigar — a master artisan whose skill was passed down, not learned overnight. The pieces they make carry their patience and their pride.
- Shaped, soldered, and finished entirely by hand
- Made by artisans who have given their lives to the craft
- Signed, on our Luxe pieces, by the karigar who made it
Sterling at its heart
We work only in 925 sterling silver — real, solid silver with a weight and warmth you can feel in the hand. Many pieces are oxidized by hand, the soft blackened depth drawn out to honour the detail in the work.
Not produced — composed
We make in small batches — numbers small enough to count, and to care for. It means some pieces are rare, and all of them are personal. This is jewellery made to be kept, and one day, passed on.
From our house to yours
Every piece carries the soul of Jaipur's heritage and the pride of Indian craftsmanship — made slowly, by hand, to last a lifetime and beyond.
